Tapestry in Lake Ariel, PA is currently seeking Full-Time Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the 2nd Shift. The potential schedule is as follows: 2nd

Shift:

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, five days per week (days will vary)

Compensation:

$17 per hour, plus a shift differential of up to $1.50 depending on the shift worked. As a key member of our team, our Behavioral Health Technicians play a crucial role in our daily operations. Responsibilities include positively engaging with clients, supporting them with daily treatment programming, and performing other fulfilling tasks. Our ideal candidate will collaborate effectively to meet client needs while fostering positive, therapeutic relationships.

Job Duties:

Assist with the intake process for new clients entering the program. Communicate with staff through verbal interactions and communication logs, ensuring detailed client documentation. Listen to clients regarding all aspects of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention. Coordinate activities for clients. Conduct mandatory bed checks as required by the department and complete bed-check sheets for shift reporting. Ensure that the client schedule is adhered to daily. Assist with interventions for clients. Follow objectives outlined in treatment plans. Monitor the medication line. Conduct searches upon intake or as required. Monitor treatment for necessary safety and medical needs. Uphold therapeutic boundaries and adhere to the Staff Code of Ethics.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license preferred. Some mental health experience is beneficial, but this position can be entry-level. Experience facilitating groups or activities is preferred but not required.
