Support adults with mental illness while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 PM-11:30 PM.

As a Mental Health Technician on our residential care team, you will provide essential care and support to residents, helping them thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who meet the following minimum qualifications and can contribute to a supportive environment for our residents:

Minimum Requirements:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required). Basic Life Support (BLS)

Certification:

Must obtain BLS certification within 120 days of hire and maintain it for continued employment. Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA)

Licensure:

Complete the licensure course and exam within the first 90 days of employment. Certification must remain current per the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS).

Driver’s License:

Obtain a valid Class E Missouri or Kansas driver’s license within 90 days. Must be comfortable and competent operating a 15-passenger van within 6 months of employment and obey all traffic laws while on duty.

Family Care Registry Clearance:

Successfully clear the Family Care Registry background check.

Training:

Complete all required training as outlined during orientation and by leadership within established timelines for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Patient Care Experience:

Preference for candidates with documented experience assisting patients with activities of daily living (e.g. home health or residential experience).

Mental Health Experience:

Prior experience in a mental health care setting is highly valued.
