The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with autism and other disabilities, implementing behavior management strategies and supporting their development. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and the ability to collect and analyze data effectively. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis techniques. Conduct data collection to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed. Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medical protocols. Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage challenging behaviors safely. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, behaviors, and progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans. Support clients in developing vital life skills through structured activities. Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to behavior management. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health. Experience with medication administration protocols. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and practices. Ability to assess and record vital signs when necessary. Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress. Experience working with individuals with autism and other disabilities is highly desirable.
