The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, particularly those with autism and other behavioral challenges, to implement treatment plans and support their development. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring that clients receive the best possible support in their journey toward improved behavior management. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical records and documentation. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments. Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Assist clients with daily living skills and provide patient care as needed. Engage in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in behavior therapy and patient care. Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring behavior management support. Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques is a plus. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and vital signs monitoring is preferred. Previous experience in patient care or related fields is highly desirable. Understanding of PTSD care principles is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
