Job Description:

• Performs diagnostic patient testing electroencephalogram (EEG),electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction velocities (NCV), sensoryevoked potentials (EP), and polysomnographic testing with possibleoxygen therapy and continuous positive air pressure treatments(CPAP).
• Performs room and equipment set-up and placement inhospital rooms, operating rooms, or clinics.
• Calibrates andmaintains equipment.
• Reads and scores neurodiagnostic and/orpolysomnographic tests.
• Takes patient histories.
• Providesinstruction to patients and families regarding test preparation,pre-test interviews, and follow-up appointments.
