Radiology Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Tech We are seeking ahighly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our radiologyteam. In this role, you will prepare and administer radioactivedrugs for imaging or therapeutic purposes while ensuring patientsafety throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepareradioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) and administer them topatients via injection, inhalation, or oral methods. Operateadvanced imaging equipment to capture images of radioactivematerial within the body for diagnostic purposes. Monitor patientsduring procedures for any adverse reactions or complications.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protectpatients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.
Collaborate with physicians to analyze imaging results for accuratediagnoses or treatment plans. Maintain detailed records ofprocedures performed and ensure proper disposal of radioactivematerials according to regulations.
Work Environment:
Work inhospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, or research facilitiesequipped with nuclear medicine technology. A dynamic environmentrequiring attention to detail, technical expertise, and adherenceto safety standards.
