RESPONSIBLE FOR
Performs diagnostic andtherapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology proceduresaccording to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to
A.L.A.R.A.
programs. Performs all quality control procedures inaccordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of a NuclearMedicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee onEducation Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED
None
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREDBY LAW
Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
BLS Certified Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safetyguidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform andprocess Nuclear Medicine examinations.
