This position is PRN. Team member will cover shifts onas needed basis. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assistsphysicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeuticprocedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclearmedicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma orGED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate ofARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program,required.

Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience innuclear medicine, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
- Certifiedand registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB
- RT(N) orCNMT, required.
- IV Credentialed, required.

- Applicable state license, required.
- AdditionalSkills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic anddepartment-specific skills validation and competency testing; goodcommunication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnosticrooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicineequipment, able to adapt to new and various situations andprocedures according to age of patient served; has ability tointerpret information to identify each patient’s requirements forcare relative to his / her age-specific needs.
