Registered ARRT Radiologic Technologist

Essential Functions:

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Prepares preliminary paperwork for final interpretation by the cardiologist. Performs exercise, pharmaceutical, and echo stress tests. Recognizes chest pain, arrhythmias with stress testing. Responds/obtains appropriate and immediate assistance as needed. Monitors, receives, and stocks stress lab supplies. Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment as needed. Troubleshoots minor problems, makes adjustments as needed during the procedure and prepares recordings for interpretation. Collects and/or reviews pertinent medical, historical, and medication information in order to perform the appropriate study prescribed by the physician. Assists with computerized charting, MUSE, and Paragon. Assists with activities to improve department processes, facilitate testing, and maintain quality to achieve optimal patient results. Minimum Education
Graduate of an approved course in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Minimum Work Experience
One or more years of experience in NM with NM registration.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
