  • Full Time Job Summary The Nuclear MedicineTechnologist is responsible for performing brain SPECT scans andrelated quality assurance procedures in a fast-paced outpatienthealthcare setting. This role requires technical expertise, patientcare skills, and the ability to work effectively within amultidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform brain SPECTscans and ensure imaging quality.
  • Prepare IVs and administerpatient doses.
  • Process and print scan images before the end ofthe workday.
  • Implement and oversee testing protocols.
  • Maintainpatient safety, confidentiality, and comfort during procedures.

Qualifications

  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license inthe applicable state (Required).
  • Ability to work efficiently withlarge patient volumes.
  • Strong communication skills, with theability to explain technical information to patients.
  • Timemanagement and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Empathy and emotional stability, ensuring positive patientinteractions.
  • Familiarity with brain imaging (Preferred).
  • Experience with Picker Prism 3000 system (Preferred). Physical &Work Environment
  • Frequent typing, screen viewing, and use ofoffice equipment.
  • Prolonged sitting during imaging procedures.
  • Frequent hearing, listening, and verbal communication.
