Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the evaluation of various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in nuclear medicine techniques. Duties Conduct nuclear medicine scans, including PET scans, to capture images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while adhering to safety protocols. Ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment and perform routine maintenance checks. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results and provide accurate diagnostic evaluations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures performed. Follow aseptic techniques and safety guidelines to minimize exposure to radiation for both patients and staff. Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience required. Active BLS required.
