Travel We are looking for a Nuclear MedicineTechnologist (NMT) for an immediate travel opening in Charleston,SC. The right NMT must have 1 year of experience. Read below foradditional requirements. As an Nuclear Medicine Technologist, youwill be responsible for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticalagents and administering them to patients prior to using a scanneror camera to capture images. NMTs provide technical support tophysicians or others who diagnose, care for, and treat patients andto researchers who investigate the uses of radioactive drugs.

Tasks As an NMT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks: Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicinephysicians Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation forprocedures Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera. Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticalsunder the direct supervision of a radiologist Provide assistance to patients during procedures Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients andstaff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have

BLS, ARRT

(N) NationalCertification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT,and state-specific licensing when required. NMTs should be able tostand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean orstoop without difficulty. NMTs must have a sound knowledge ofanatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
