POSITION SUMMARY
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist works with the physicians and clinical team to provide anesthesia services at our Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC’s). The CRNA assesses patients prior procedures to ensure proper doses of anesthesia are administered, monitors vital signs during the course of procedures and oversees patient care after procedures are performed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS CREDENTIALS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITES
Previous experience in the Gastrointestinal Specialty is preferred, but not required. Must possess an active CRNA License in the State of Florida. Must possess ACLS and PALS certifications. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (medical and/or religious exemptions permitted.) Must maintain HIPAA compliance when accessing Personal Health Information (PHI). Must be able to perform physical duties when necessary. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently as part of a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a CRNA. Must possess and maintain an active RN and CRNA License in the State of Florida. Must possess and maintain CRNA license through the NBCRNA Must possess ACLS and PALS certifications. Must possess and maintain an active membership with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
