General Job Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia care topatients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment,intraoperative anesthesia management and postoperative painmanagement. Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams and otherhealthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitorpatient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed. Respondto emergencies and provide critical care interventions. Maintainaccurate and complete medical records. Stay current on the latestadvancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education.

MinimumEducation Requirements:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) orDoctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNAprogram.
License & Certifications:
Active and unencumbered advancedpractice registered nurse (APRN) license in North Carolina.
National certification as a CRNA by the National Board ofCertification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Experience:
While specific requirements may vary, most locum CRNApositions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience ina clinical anesthesia setting.
