Village Family Dental is seeking a skilled and experiencedCertified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide IV sedationservices in accordance with the NC Dental Board guidelines forprimary dental sedation. This role is ideal for a CRNA who thrivesin an office-based setting, enjoys working with a team of dentalprofessionals and is dedicated to ensuring patient comfort andsafety.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer IV sedation for oralsurgery procedures Assess patient medical history, evaluate risks,and develop individualized anesthesia plans Monitor patients’ vitalsigns and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Ensure patientsafety and comfort before, during and after procedures Educatepatients on anesthesia risks and post-procedure care Collaboratewith dentists, oral surgeons, and clinical staff to optimizepatient outcomes Maintain accurate and thorough documentation ofanesthesia care Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards foroffice-based anesthesia
Qualifications:
Current CRNA certificationand licensure in North Carolina Minimum 5 years’ experience inanesthesia, preferably in an office-based or dental settingProficiency in administering IV sedation and managing airwayemergencies strong understanding of ASA classifications, patientscreening, and emergency preparedness in an outpatient settingExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
