This advanced practice nursing position requires a high level of expertise in anesthesia administration, patient assessment, and monitoring. CRNAs work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery across various patient populations. Duties Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout the procedure. Manage airway complications and provide airway management as necessary. Administer injections and other medications as part of the anesthesia process. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide care for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses. Skills Strong knowledge of human physiology and systems relevant to anesthesiology. Proficiency in airway management techniques and emergency response protocols. Experience administering injections safely and effectively. Ability to monitor patients’ vital signs accurately during procedures. Expertise in patient assessment to tailor anesthesia plans for individual needs. Familiarity with anesthesiology practices across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
