This position qualifies for a$40,000 commitment incentive, paid in four (4) installments overtwo (2) year work commitment, as well as the option of our

Up-to $100,000 in tuition loanassistance (amount based on loan amount). Documentation ofoutstanding loan amount required. Paid in six (6) installments overa three (3) year work period.

:1. Assesses patientpre-operatively in a timely and efficient manner. This includesperformance of history and physical, development of anesthesia planof care, documentation of assessment and plan, explanation of care,risks and benefits to patient and family, assembly of equipment anddrugs. Meets annual departmental quality metrics for turnovertimes, on-time starts and QI submissions.2. Attends continuingeducation and professional meetings, participates in institutionaland departmental committees, and contributes to the clinicallearning experience of other health care professionals.3.Contributes to performance improvement. Evaluates problem areas,plans and implements measures to assure improvement in patientoutcomes, assists in collection of data and participates in ImpactCare activities.4. Maintains anesthesia records, Impact Carereports and other documents in a legible manner5. Providesanesthesia. This includes performs ASA-approved checklist ofequipment, provides safe environment for patient, administersanesthesia in accordance with the Department of Anesthesiologystandards of care, places appropriate lines and monitors, adjustscare and notifies appropriate personnel in abnormal situations,transports patient at the end of the case, reports pertinentinformation, documents anesthesia care.

Education Requirements:

Completion of a NurseAnesthesia program accredited by the American Association of NurseAnesthetists (AANA).

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Certifiedor eligible for certification by the American Association of NurseAnesthetist. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in thestate of North Carolina.

Professional Experience Requirements:

Noprior experience required.
