In this critical role, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process. Duties Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during procedures. Manage airway and provide pain management as needed. Document medical information accurately in patient records. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patients’ recovery from anesthesia. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Schedule:
24-hour call shifts, specific dates Level III trauma ~15 anesthetizing locations
Cases:
OB Will perform regional blocks and lines Care team model
EMR:
Sunrise/Altera, MedAxion Paid travel & expenses Requirements Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and airway management protocols. Experience in patient monitoring, including vital signs assessment. Familiarity with ICU settings and patient assessment methodologies. Proficiency in medical documentation practices related to anesthesia care. Experience administering injections and medication administration is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
