Dr. Leland Allen and his Nurse Practitioner, Bridget Smith, are seeking an additional Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner to join the Infectious Disease team. Duties include, but are not limited to: Round on Hospital patients for purposes of triage and education; Complete H&Ps, discharge summaries, and other documentation as needed; Communicate with ID Physician regarding patient needs, assessments, and recommendations; Coordinate with Hospital Case Management for Home Health and/or IV Antibiotics; Converse with patients regarding lab and/or test results; Assist with patient and/or family inquiries; Assist with Hospital records as needed; This is a Per-Diem position with an expectation of working 2 – 3 days per week, including weekends. Education/ Experience AL Nursing License required. (CRNP) Qualifications Previous nursing experience in Infectious Disease is preferred. Licenses/ Certifications/ Registrations CRNP, BLS, ACLS
