In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health care to patients across various demographics, including children and seniors. You will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and administering psychopharmacological interventions. Your expertise will be vital in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, including those with disabilities, pediatric, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Provide ongoing patient care and support, including medication management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients. Administer psychopharmacological treatments and monitor their effects. Offer specialized care for senior patients and those with disabilities. Provide education to patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatments. Stay informed about workers’ compensation laws as they relate to mental health treatment. Perform botulinum toxin treatments as needed in accordance with clinical guidelines. Requirements Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Strong background in patient care, particularly in psychiatric settings. Experience working with children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities is preferred. Proficiency in psychopharmacology and its applications in clinical practice. Familiarity with geriatric care principles and practices. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans. Knowledge of clinic operations and best practices in mental health care delivery. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
