We’re currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding team in Huntsville, AL . Position Overview This full-time role is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner passionate about delivering psychiatric care in a collaborative, supportive environment. You’ll work directly with patients in assisted living, skilled nursing, and other partner facilities—providing assessments, prescribing treatment, and improving lives. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and facility teams Provide education to patients and families about diagnoses and medications Document all clinical interactions in the EMR in a timely and accurate manner Support facility partners and ensure compliance with care standards Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) license in Alabama Minimum of 2 years’ experience in psychiatry, geriatrics, or related fields Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Passion for compassionate, patient-centered mental health care Schedule & Location Monday-Friday , standard daytime hours No nights, no weekends In-person care across partner facilities in Huntsville, AL Apply today and join a team that’s passionate about transforming mental health care—one patient at a time.
