Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient clinic in Huntsville, AL. This position focuses on follow-up care for adult patients with neurological conditions, offering a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage neurological conditions such as seizures, headaches, and muscle weakness Order and interpret diagnostic tests and neuroimaging Perform medical services including IV infusions and lumbar punctures Prescribe medications and develop patient care plans Collaborate with neurosurgeons and assist with pre-op evaluations

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Nursing Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner Active AL state medical license and DEA license 1-2 years of Neurology or 4+ years of Internal Medicine experience preferred

Schedule & Patient Load:

Full-time (4 or 4.5 days/week option available) Outpatient only 20-24 follow-up patients per day Ages 18-99
