The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various health conditions, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and promoting wellness in our patient population. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses across diverse patient populations. Perform procedures such as venipuncture and other necessary clinical tasks. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, including discharge planning. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems like Cerner. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care. Stay updated on advancements in medical practices, particularly in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, emergency medicine, and psychopharmacology. Requirements Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure. Experience in acute care settings preferred; experience with children is a plus. Proficiency in performing venipuncture and other relevant clinical skills. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-directed. Knowledge of home care practices is advantageous.
