Job Overview:

This role involves providing medical care to patients across all age groups with various acute and chronic conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a healthcare team to diagnose, treat, and educate patients, upholding high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care with a focus on service excellence. Provide leadership and support during emergencies, ensuring a reassuring presence for patients. Conduct medical assessments, treatments, management, and follow-up for clinic patients, including primary care, urgent care, occupational health, and workers’ compensation cases. Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting, and abscess incision and drainage. Establish and monitor appropriate levels of medical care for patients. Oversee and support on-site laboratory services, x-rays, injections, and collections for direct access services. Maintain clinical core competency. Collaborate with leadership and staff to align operations with medical policies and professional standards. Participate in the development and revision of policies related to medical practice, quality of care, and patient satisfaction. Contribute to and assist with continuing education programs for healthcare professionals. Recommend opportunities for growth and development of new or existing services within the center. Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies. Guide other medical staff to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

State License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon employment. DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon employment. BLS certification. Experience as a healthcare provider is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
