Backus Hospital CancerInstitute in the Willimantic location.

Through the open collaboration that is facilitated by thesepartnerships, community cancer caregivers are in a better positionto provide state of the art, evidence-based cancer care to improvethe lives of cancer patients. Together, the Hartford HealthcareCancer Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering stay ahead of cancer.

Oncology APP’s will be involved in triage and the spectrum ofoutpatient management of cancer patients including, urgent visits,chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow up appointments, andongoing survivorship care. Job Schedule:

FullTime M-F schedule – Four 10-hour day schedule may be option Basedin an outpatient medical oncology practice with the opportunity toparticipate in acute care consultation services. CAREER, apply today! Qualifications Eligibility tobe licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), orAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), is required. Eligibilityto be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or NursePractitioner is required. Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN isrequired. A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as anAdvanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred.
