Some coverage may be required at our other site in Cos Cob, CT. Enjoy a relaxed work setting, the ability to dictate your notes and orders nearly eliminating computer work, a supportive medical team greatly reducing manual computer time, and moderate work pace in a most convenient location. This position is for the person interested in a lifestyle-based, long term practice home while building their own primary care patient base with the Stamford community, enjoying the rapport of long-term patient relationships, and benefitting for the hard-work and patient centered care. Responsibilities Assess and treat patients’ health in the primary care and walk-in clinic setting including issuing appropriate prescriptions (no controlled medications) Be aware how to order appropriate consultations, labs, and imaging in the diagnostic workup Be comfortable providing telemedicine visits for clinical care and results Provide minor treatments (disinfecting wounds) Skills Proven work experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner Can-do attitude when empowering patients Caring/Flexible sentiment accommodating patient preferences when providing treatment options Easy-going nature in the office-setting Team player with good communication skills Malpractice Insurance will be provided Work-Life Balance is paramount at our clinic. 5 days per week: 9:00am-5:00pm Hours per week: 40
