We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification in the state of Florida Priority to provide high quality, efficient medical care Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Great ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals with empathy and respect Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to provide quality healthcare to patients Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to adapt to changing situations Reliable, motivated and proactive

Responsibilities:

Provide all aspects of Nephrology care in diverse practice settings – inpatient and outpatient Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including taking detailed medical histories and conducting physical examinations Manage and treat patients with a variety of nephrology-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, hypertension and electrolyte imbalances to name a few Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and imaging studies Prescribe medications and adjust treatment regimens based on patient progress and lab results Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with nephrologists, addressing both short-term and long-term patient goals Conduct new patient and follow up patient consults, review patient labs and diagnostic testing, perform medication regimen titration, and formulate treatment plans Provide effective communication to patients, patient families, our medical team and referring providers along with efficient documentation We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Nurse Practitioner at FNA.
