Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and independent Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to lead patient care in our Mobile Medical Clinic , serving communities across Central Florida. The ideal candidate will be confident working autonomously in the field, possess a strong understanding of HIV prevention (including PrEP), and be comfortable managing routine primary care, minor urgent care needs, and wound care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, culturally competent primary care in a mobile clinic setting Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment across a broad spectrum of conditions Prescribe and manage HIV prevention medications, including PrEP and PEP Manage common chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) and provide preventive care Perform wound evaluations and basic treatment (e.g., dressings, infection control, referrals) Work closely with medical assistants and case management team to coordinate follow-up care Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation (EMR) Participate in community outreach events and patient education as needed
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Florida APRN or PA license 3+ years of experience as a medical provider (NP or PA) in primary care, urgent care, or HIV/STI services Proficient in HIV prevention , including PrEP and PEP protocols Strong understanding of basic wound care and primary care principles Comfortable working independently in a mobile setting with minimal supervision BLS certification required; additional certifications (HIV, wound care) a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Must have valid driver’s license and be able to travel within service area Why Join Us?
