Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and driven Medical Doctor (MD) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our provider team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to quality care, capable of managing a full patient panel and working alongside our MAs, front office, and care coordination staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse adult population. Conduct preventive care visits, chronic disease management, sick visits, and follow-up care. Document all patient interactions thoroughly and timely in our EMR system (Athena). Participate in quality initiatives and ensure compliance with HEDIS and value-based care metrics. Collaborate with other clinical and non-clinical team members to ensure continuity of care. Minimum of 15 patients per day , with the ability to overbook as needed to support practice needs. Engage in care coordination efforts to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations and improve outcomes. Maintain current licensure and complete ongoing CME as required by Florida law and payer guidelines.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Florida license as an MD or ARNP. Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Adult Gerontology (for ARNP). Valid DEA license. Minimum 1 year of primary care experience preferred; strong new grads will be considered. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Russian language proficiency is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable with EMR usage; Athena experience is a plus.
