Inpatient Hematology (Sickle Cell Services) Advanced Practice Provider Position Available In Broward, Florida

Memorial Healthcare System is expanding services to provide inpatient care to benign hematology inclusive of Sickle Cell patients and is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing team. The selected provider will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care population in the hospital setting. Responsibilities will include obtaining rounding on patients, collecting medical histories, performing comprehensive physical exams, and providing comprehensive care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hematology or sickle cell setting. Candidates must have at least two (2) years of clinical experience in an advanced practice hospital setting. Nurse Practitioner candidates must have a national Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification. Physician Assistant candidates must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master?s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.

Schedule requirements are five (5) days per week, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience.
