Job Description
Memorial Cancer Institute Breast Cancer Center, recognized as a Florida Cancer Center of Excellence, is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing team. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of breast cancer care specialists to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of oncological conditions in an outpatient setting. The Memorial Cancer Institute Breast Cancer Center is a well-established center serving the community of South Broward County and includes breast specific medical oncology, breast surgical oncology, genetics, and nurse navigation. The ideal candidate will have prior oncology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider and will be excited about developing a unique patient panel while working alongside practice physicians. Candidates must have a national Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification or must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master?s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM ? 5 PM, with no weekend or call expectations. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
