The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including primary care and emergency room environments as well as home bound patients, Urgent Care, home health As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans. Perform procedures such as IV insertion and other necessary interventions. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems, including Epic. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Provide care in various settings, including assisted living facilities, pediatrics, and emergency rooms as needed. Participate in coding for medical records to ensure proper documentation and billing practices. Skills Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic. Experience in emergency room settings or primary care environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical records management and coding practices. Ability to perform IV insertion and other clinical procedures effectively. Experience working in pediatrics or with patients requiring dialysis is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members. Strong critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and make informed decisions regarding care.
