In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients across various settings. You will work collaboratively with a team to assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs. Be able to provide brief psychotherapy & behavioral intervention Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients, including case management. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in psychiatric care. Engage in memory care strategies for patients with cognitive impairments. Requirements Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry or Mental Health. Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Valid state nursing license and ability to pass background checks. Familiarity with medical office procedures and electronic medical records systems is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
