Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care, and we are seeking a seasoned Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative environment. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to step into our practice and immediately manage a nearly full schedule of patients. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, patient-centered mental health setting. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health conditions. Manage a diverse patient panel with a nearly full schedule from day one. Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments, as appropriate. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated patient care. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and families on mental health management and treatment plans.
Qualifications Education:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
Certification:
National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in mental health care.
Skills:
