Nurse Practitioner—Dermatology Freeman Dermatology 13690 N US Highway 441, Lady Lake, FL 32159 Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or PA-C to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including general, surgical and cosmetic Dermatology. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Knowledagble in comprehensive skin examinations, identify various benign and malignant lesions. Able to diagnose and treat many dermatologic conditions, including but not limited to: atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, seborrheic dermatitis, etc. Able to perform various procedures including shave and punch biopsies, cryosurgery, electrodessication & curettage, excisions, injections. Order and interpret lab results, prescribe biologic medications. Collaborate with dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, and plastic surgeons on mutual patients and refer to appropriate specialists as needed. Provide patient-centered care through evidence-based medicine for pediatric to geriatric populations. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the clinical environment. Skills Proficiency in General Dermatology, Biologics and surgical dermatology. Strong background in medical documentation. Experience in clinical research methodologies and laboratory procedures. Knowledge of acute care principles. Familiarity with Acutane and Biologics-related patient management. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
