Job Description

Lee Health Heart Institute is actively recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Structural Heart Team! This APP will be working with our structural heart team and collaborate daily with other members of the Heart Institute, including but not limited to CT Surgery, General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. This is a hybrid position consisting of both inpatient consults and rounds as well as outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluation of structural heart consults inpatient and outpatient and assist with the overall growth of our valve program. The provider would primarily be located at HPMC and see outpatients out of the Shipley Cardiothoracic Surgery Center. However, growth of this new program may require travel to additional Lee Health locations as necessary.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (Acute pathway preferred) or Physician Assistant
  • Active, unrestricted license in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain this license prior to start
  • Current BLS credentials thru the American Heart Association
  • Experience working with Cardiac patients

Preferred:

1 year experience as an Advance Practice Provider in a Cardiology Clinic or Hospital setting.
