Not Available Position Overview SHI Physician Group is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our Emergency Medicine team in Southwest Florida. This is a 1099 contract position offering a competitive hourly rate of $90/hour , with malpractice coverage including tail provided.

APP Coverage:

13-22 hours daily

PM Thurs-Sun:

9:00 AM-10:00 PM Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in the Emergency Department Collaborate with emergency physicians and clinical staff to develop and execute care plans Perform common ED procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care, etc.) Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions Maintain thorough and timely documentation Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Current Florida NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain) National certification (PA-C or board-certified NP) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience Proficient in emergency procedures and clinical decision-making Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Join us as we strive to provide exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive environment for our staff.
