Job Description
- $15,000 SOB for those candidates that qualify and have 3+ years of Level III or
IV NICU APP
experience
- Requires 3 years of NNP or PA experience in a Level III or
IV NICU NICU APP
– Neonatal nurse practitioner or Experienced Neonatal PA at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Work Location:
Manatee Memorial Hospital, 206 2nd St., East; Bradenton, Florida 34208 The NNP or Neonatal PA demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. The practitioner role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal practitioner works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal practitioner maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Clinical NNP Master’s Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA.
- Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
- Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA.
- Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA What Awaits You?

Level III or IV NICU Salary Range:
Minimum $52.02/hour – Maximum $80.63/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
