Homestead, FL 33033 Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of HMO medical terminology, for Primary Care as well as proficiency in various clinical skills. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Manage discharge planning for patients to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Athena EMR or similar electronic health record systems. Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies. Stay updated on best practices in nursing and healthcare regulations. Requirements Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida. Proficiency in medical terminology is essential. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
