The ideal candidate will possess a strong medical background and a passion for delivering quality and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Must be cognizant of, and comply with, all facility policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations. This will be a Full-Time position Monday – Friday with weekend availability
Responsibilities:
APRN must provide the full scope of pulmonary care services.
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare and clinic settings
- Obtain health history and perform physical examinations
- Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment
- Prescribe medication in accordance with state statute and professional practice guidelines
- Maintains a problem-oriented health record for each patient
- Evaluation of new-admission visits
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Communicate with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care
- Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues
- Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health
- Assures continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services on a timely basis
- Provides excellent internal/external customer service via telephone, videoconference, chat or face-to-face contact to assist patients with their health care needs
- Follows established departmental and medical center policies, procedures, and objectives
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and reactions to treatments. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments

- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures

Compensation:
