The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans. This role requires a strong understanding of various medical practices, with an emphasis on pediatrics, infectious disease care, and triage. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages. Perform procedures such as catheter care, sonography, and vital sign monitoring. Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in triage processes to prioritize patient needs effectively. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including dialysis when necessary. Stay current with advancements in medical practices related to infectious disease care. Requirements Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC or AANP). Strong clinical skills with experience in pediatrics preferred. Proficiency in catheter care, triage, vital signs monitoring, and sonography is highly desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
