Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with our physicians and healthcare staff to provide primary care services to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in pain management and filtration procedures, as well as an interest in contributing to the clinic’s expansion and development of new service lines. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical exams, diagnose conditions, and prescribe treatment plans. Manage chronic and acute medical conditions in coordination with other healthcare professionals. Perform and/or assist in pain management treatments and filtration procedures (preferred). Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and x-rays. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and preventative care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EMR systems. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure the highest quality of care. Be open to bringing ideas, proposing new approaches, and actively participating in the clinic’s expansion and service development. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida. Current DEA registration. Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred). Experience or strong interest in pain management and filtration procedures (preferred). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
