The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including urgent care, hospitals, and specialized departments such as ICU and OR. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including performing procedures such as cardiac catheterization. Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical histories. Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention. Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with medical documentation standards. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively. Manage urgent care situations efficiently while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Assist in the administration of tube feeding and other specialized treatments as needed. Participate in teaching hospital initiatives by mentoring nursing students or new staff. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to various healthcare settings.
