The FNP will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, health education, and management of chronic conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational health, hospital medicine, and infectious disease care, ensuring that all patient interactions adhere to HIPAA standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine health status. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices. Administer medications and perform necessary procedures in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes. Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic illnesses. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Skills Proficient in occupational health practices and standards. Strong knowledge of hospital medicine and infectious disease care protocols. Experience with pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) procedures is a plus. Excellent diagnostic evaluation skills for effective patient assessment. Competent in medication administration techniques. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Athenahealth. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.
