Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner 26 Health,Inc 801 North Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803 Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner looking for an excellent opportunity with a special interest in Women’s Health? Interested in working with one of the fastest growing health facilities in the Central FL area? If so, we would like to talk to you! We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Women’s Health team in Orlando, FL at 26Health. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for women throughout their life stages, focusing on preventive care, reproductive health, and chronic disease management. Duties and responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans and provide ongoing care for women’s health issues, including reproductive health, and preventive screenings. Perform routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears, breast exams and pelvic exams Educating patients about and prescribing contraceptives Diagnosing and treating STD’s Advocate for patients needs and coordinate care among various healthcare providers. Prescribes, adjusts, and monitors medications, ensuring appropriate dosages and minimizing side effects. Educates patients on medication use and potential risks. Takes a patient-centered approach to develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, considering their unique needs, preferences, and goals. Understands legal and professional responsibility of “duty to report” and proceeds according to Florida state law associated with child and elder abuse. Maintains accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medication records, in compliance with all legal and ethical standards. Maintains all required licenses, board certifications, registrations, and any other required qualifications or credentials, keeping them up to date and in compliance prior to any expiration dates. Completes assigned annual company trainings for compliance. Stays current with the latest developments in the field through ongoing professional development and training. Adheres to clinical guidelines and best practices in patient care. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to the clinic’s commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery. Attends outreach events as requested. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience Valid WHNP, APRN or NP license in Florida. Bachelor’s degree in nursing 3+ year of in women’s health and be enthusiastic life-long learners Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Empathy and compassion for individuals with women health challenges. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Commitment to patient-centered care. Telemedicine experience is a plus but not required Working conditions Prolonged periods standing, walking, and/or sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required. Work may be required in various environments as needed by project/activity. Physical requirements May require the occasional ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
