To support our continued growth, we are seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in our Gastro Health care center in Lake Worth, Florida . Practice Details Join 5 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers No Hospital – outpatient only Average of 20 patients per day 4-days/32-hour workweek (Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri) Full-Time Benefits Company-paid malpractice Insurance Salaried position 18 days PTO plus holidays $1,500 CME allowance + 3 CME days Cigna Health Benefits (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plans (401k, Profit Sharing) Short- & Long-Term Disability Healthcare & Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts Job Duties Outpatient consults and follow-ups Examine, diagnose, and coordinate treatment plans for patients with acute illnesses and exacerbations of chronic disease (under the supervision of physicians) Order, interpret, and make diagnoses of lab tests and imaging scans Record progress notes, instruct and counsel patients, and modify treatment plans as needed Write/refill prescriptions appropriate for diagnosis Review patient results, including pathology Document patient information in eClinicalWorks in a timely manner Other duties related to the specialty of gastroenterology as assigned Candidate requirements Fluent in both English and Spanish Active NP or PA license in the state of Florida Certification as an NP or PA with prescriptive authority 1+ years of APP GI experience preferred Internal medicine experience preferred Ability to build strong working relationships with the healthcare team Demonstrate integrity, adaptability, and the desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and teammates What makes Gastro Health different?
