Nurse Practitioner ARNP For Weight Loss and Addiction Services Palm Beach Wellness Center Lake Worth, FL 33467 Palm Beach Wellness Center is a small well established Weight Loss and Wellness center that also does Discrete Outpatient Opiate Addiction services. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to see patients Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9AM-2PM and Thursdays from 12PM – 5PM. Previous experience prescribing Buprenorphine is a plus but not necessary.

Duties Include:

Seeing New Weight Loss Patients Seeing and Evaluating New Hormone Therapy Patients Seeing New Outpatient Opiate Addiction Patients using Buprenorpine/Naloxone Seeing Follow up patients.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday’s 9AM-2PM or later depending on appointments Thursday’s 12PM-5PM or later depending on appointments Responsibilities Examine patients and their medical records Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests) Diagnose health conditions and illnesses Prescribe medications Maintain accurate records and schedules Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications Oversee patients’ overall health Promote good health practices Advance professional knowledge and conduct research Skills Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner or PA in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication skills Strong ethics Team spirit with a positive attitude Patience and cool-headedness Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience Valid nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant license Master’s degree; PhD is a plus
