Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or experienced Neonatal Physician Assistant to join our busy practice at Winter Haven Women’s Hospital. Located in the heart of central Florida, Winter Haven offers a vibrant lake lifestyle, perfect for both relaxation and adventure.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality neonatal care in a Level-II NICU
Work collaboratively in a 2-physician practice, supported by an affiliated BayCare practice in Tampa
Participate in 16-hour shifts with opportunities for additional hours
Maintain up-to-date medical knowledge and practice standards
Participate in emergency interventions and critical care
Engage in professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
2+ years of current work experience in NICU (not including RN or training)
Board Certified APRN national specialty certification for NNP or Board Certification through NCCPA for PA candidates
Clean malpractice and licensing history
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
Current Florida license (or willingness to obtain)
Board Certified APRN national specialty certification NNP (for NP candidates)
