Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on clinical findings and patient needs. Provide primary care services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. Perform procedures such as catheterization and discharge planning as necessary. Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic. Stay informed about current clinical research and best practices in infection control, geriatrics, infant care, and medical-surgical nursing. Requirements Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner program. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Certification by a recognized national board (e.g., ANCC or AANP). Strong clinical skills in primary care settings with experience in infection control practices. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
