The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience of functional medicine in a clinical setting. As a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing root causes of illness, based on labs and diagnostic testing while developing treatment plans that focuses on individual needs, and providing comprehensive care plan to improve patient outcomes. The Functional Nurse Practitioner must be able to educate patients on proper health and nutrition and how various factors like genetics, lifestyle, environment and diet affect their health and well-being. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs. Ordering and analyzing advanced labs and diagnostic testing. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans/protocols including health coaching and nutritional counseling. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and safety. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide the proper care and support for patients.
